Just a quick picture update from last nights accomplishments.. 

June 29th - 15 Days to go...

Headlights, park lights, grilles are all installed, started on the wheel arches, the add said "are you tired of ill fitting arches", I am tired of ill fitting arches, Must be a trick to putting these on. Tricky little pricks. New body plugs didn't fit, have to clean up old ones. Drive shafts in. Pictures to follow..

June 28th - 16 Days to go.

Sorry no pictures today, I was at work so my father was solo-ing. He got the Door hinges, trunk hinges, hood hinges, some more engine bay brackets, finished front sub frame , coil over shocks , and a hood latch installed. Overall a productive day. Still looking good for a weekend engine fireing.

June 27th - 17 Days left

Some Progress Last night... Brake Master Cylenders.
Gas, Break, Clutch pedals...
We've got a spot to put the Gas now...
And we've got a working park break...
Slowly But surely we are getting this thing put together... and I predict we should have the engine in it and started this weekend... Stay tuned ! 

Jun26th - Evening - We start assembly

Here you see the first and second parts to make it on the car.. One tail light and the rubber 'boot' seal.

Rear subframe installed.... Its toight...

For making the car go left and right...
And the front subframe.. Still missing a couple bolts for that one. Pick those up tomorrow.
 

Picked up the Newly Painted Body

11:03 am: We picked up the car, paint couldn't be better. Head liner and subframes may make it in tonight. For now day job...

Starting today we have exactly 18 days to fully re-assemble this British car to a fully drivable condition so that we can make it to the British car days in Prince Edward Island on July 15th . Stay tuned and follow along as we attempt what may be the impossible .....
